About RPM Guiding

RPM Guiding is run by Ric and Kate Potter. Ric is a British Mountain Guide (UIAGM/IFMGA), so does most of the guiding (and some of the office work) and Kate runs everything else. We are a small company, often it's just Ric doing the guiding, but sometimes other Guides work with us too.

We are based in North Wales, in the UK, close to the mountains and cliffs of Snowdonia. We also have a part-time base in Argentiere, near Chamonix, in France, in order to maintain our links with the area where we lived full time for 6 years and run our Alpine program .

Our aim is to provide professional guiding and instruction without losing the adventurous spirit of amateur climbing, so that it's enjoyable and fun, but also challenging and with a high level of safety. We've been operating since 1996.
