RPM Guiding Prices up to and including 31 May 2012. (Prices may alter after that date)

What you pay depends on whether you are joining a group or whether you are opting for private guiding. We have two rates: one in Euros for Alpine guiding and another in GBP  for rock climbing/summer mountaineering in Wales. Anything outside of that (eg. Scottish winter/summer guiding) we would normally quote for specifically.

Private Guiding
Private guiding is for private groups or individuals employing the guide on a daily basis for a bespoke itinerary. The fee works on a sliding scale according to the number of people to one guide.

UK (Wales) valid until 31 May 2012
1 person - 180 gbp
2 people - 200 gbp
3 people - 220 gbp
4 people - 240 gbp

This is for guiding only.

ALPINE Rates - valid until 31 May 2012
1 person - 325 euro
2 people - 350 euro
3-4 people - 360 euro
5-6 people -380 euro

Larger groups should contact us for a specific quote.
Premium routes, (such as Mont Blanc or the Matterhon) or more difficult or committing climbs, may warrant higher guide fees.

The guide fee does not include guides' expenses such as accommodation away from Chamonix, transport away from Chamonix, ski lifts, food etc. These can be paid as you go along. It is possible to quote a fee to include expenses if you prefer.

Because of variables we always agree a rate before you make your booking.

All Inclusive Trip Prices
We run a few multi day trips each year that have an inclusive price per person. The rates for these trips are normally fixed when the trip is advertised on this website with a specific departure date, and only if the trip is open to allcomers.

Payment
You can pay in Euros or in Pounds Sterling.

Payment in Euros
This is straightforward and can be paid by euro cheque or BACS transfer directly to our bank in Chamonix.

Payment in Sterling
You can pay in Sterling by making a BACS transfer to our UK bank.
We calculate our exchange rates on the day of payment using the following website: http://www.xe.com/ucc/

IMPORTANT: Because exchange rates may vary between when you pay your deposit and when you pay the balance you need to calculate the sterling amount just before you make each payment.

Paypal
We can also accept payment (especially for rest of world clients) by Paypal. Ask us!
