Ric Potter

Ric started climbing and skiing as a teenager in the 1980s. Since then he has climbed and skied in many of the world’s mountain areas, in particular all over the Alpine regions and other areas of Europe, in Africa, and many parts of Asia and North and South America.

Since 1991 Ric has worked as a mountain professional: teaching Outdoor Activities; leading commercial treks and expeditions ; instructing at UK National Mountain Centres; and working as a full time Alpine Guide. He has been a fully qualified International Mountain Guide (UIAGM/IFMGA) since 2002 and a British qualified Mountaineering Instructor (MIC) since 1994, and a qualified Outdoor Education teacher (PGCE) since 1991.

As well as running RPM Guiding, Ric is a co-director of Llanberis Guides Ltd www.llanberisguides.com, a North Wales based guiding agency.

Kate Potter

Kate is a climber, mountaineer and skier, who is also an experienced organiser and adminstrator.

As well as running the RPM office, Kate founded and organised the Llanberis Mountain Film Festival and the Occasional Cinema film club. In a past life Kate organised a number of large multi media events featuring music, artwork and technology-based creative projects.
