Winter Mountain Skills
Winter mountaineering and winter mountain walking require some skills to be learned before heading off and having adventures in safety. Using ice axe and crampons, brushing up on navigation and improving your general mountain skills and equipment will help you gain more confidence in the UK’s winter mountains.
I can offer specific skills training, or guided experiences where you learn along the way, and have fun enjoying anything that the winter can throw at us. North Wales often has some winter conditions between November and March, and is a good place to start if you’ve not experienced winter mountaineering before, or just want to do a couple of days or a short break.

Anything is possible from general mountaineering skills through to ice climbing.
